Homeschool A-Z 2 years to 3 years old

We used 1plus1plus1equals1.com’s Tot School Printables FREE curriculum along with ABCJesusLovesMe.com’s 2-Year Bible Curriculum.
What a journey it was, teaching Jordyn and watching her grow spiritually, developmentally, and emotionally. Her joy was truly my joy each time she got so excited about an activity or just ‘doing school.’ I highly recommend both curriculums I mentioned above. I want to note that I selected pieces from the ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum each week.

Pumpkin Patch 2015

Well, the annual pumpkin patch brought games to play, picture opportunities, and, of course, plenty of pumpkins to our area. This event is becoming a favorite for our family. Here are some moments from this year.DSC_0699

As you can see, they are having a blast. Pumpkins make everything more fun and adorable. Did you know that a pumpkin is not a vegetable; it's a fruit! In fact, it's a berry. Pumpkins belong to the family Cucurbitaceae, which includes cucumbers, melons, squash, and gourds.

Caleb was determined to pick up as many pumpkins as possible. He, of course, would look for big pumpkins to lift. The bigger, the better.

Seasonal Activity….We LOVE FALL…
Here is our Sensory Bin.

It contains items we already had along with some rice that I died to make red, organge, and yellow with food coloring. I use the simplest method to die my rice. Why spend more money or time with something that may be scattered all over the yard pretty soon. HaHa.
My method:Fill ziploc bag with some rice (however much you want for each color). Drop food coloring in, zip the bag up, shake it up, add more accordingly. I do NOT use alcohol, coolaid, or anything else. Just rice and food coloring. Let this dry for at least 6 hours or more and enjoy.

Our set up was outside on a beautiful fall day. We were very spread out too. She had a blast, and was occupied for at least 45 minutes. The funniest part was she didn’t want me to play with her AT ALL.

I love these scoops.

She had to have swept the rice for at least 15 minutes. If only we can transfer this learning to the house.
